We are just a week away from the release of Karan Johar's 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', but the controversy surrounding its release does not seem to die down. While the Cinema Owners Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) decided to stall the film's release in single screens, members of MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) threatened to vandalise multiplexes if they decide to screen the movie. The government recently stepped in and offered their 100% support to ensure that the movie releases without any violence.
Latest reports suggest that leading man Ranbir Kapoor, is "tensed" as the D-day draws close. At the opening ceremony of MAMI Film Festival in Mumbai, Ranbir's close friend Ayan Mukerji opened up about the actor's state of mind. "Ranbir is tensed, everyone is worried about how things are unfolding. He is hoping for the best," he said. 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', which also stars Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan, hits theatres next Friday.
